The
Hanslope Children's Centre Group is a Community
Interest Company with a board of members representing Hanslope
Primary School, Hanslope Pre-School and Hanslope
After
School Club together with cooptions from the wider community. The
Group, known now by the initials HCCG, has a membership of
approximately 12 drawn from the constituent groups and is
currently chaired by Russell Fancourt the retired headteacher
from the primary school . The idea that the needs of Hanslope children could be better served by the above groups working together has been under discussion for the past 2 years and is supported both locally and nationally under the umbrella of the Extended School's Initiative. The work has now entered a determined phase of public consultation, feasability study and fund-raising with the intention that the project be finished by 2010/11. |
